Basic Summary
With every 1 inch rainfall, the average roof collects over 1,100 gallons of water. Where does this water go?
Without a downspout drain tile, most of the water ends up under your home, crawls space or basement. This causes mold, mildew, wood rot and foundation damage.
The water from the roof should go into a downspout drain tile that leads to the street or storm where the city already has a system to collect this water!
Depending on the size of the city, say 600,000 homes, the collection of water is well over 600 million gallons! Every time it rains!
